Windows users (could) get the Ultimate Collection (all EPs/SPs) for free. Mac Users have to pay £20.99/$29.99 for half the EPs/SPs.Questions:Is there a Mac version of The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection?Yes, it's called the Super Collection. Aspyr (The publisher of the on-disk Mac version) released 6 (of eight) Expansion Packs and 3 (of ten) Stuff packs for the Mac.
I'm assuming you have the Super Collection, then, otherwise it wouldn't work. Making downloads work in the Super Collection is kind of a pain, as I understand it. You need to follow the path described in this post here: http://modthesims.info/showpost.php...599&postcount=4 IMPORTANT NOTE: The tilde (~) is not an actual location. Instead, it is shorthand for 'your user folder.' So on my computer, '~' would equal 'esmeiolanthe.' On your computer, '~' means 'RedDragonMC' (or whatever your actual username is on your computer. Once you get the location right, it should work the same as it used to: put the mods in, allow custom content via the in-game control panel, go into a house and save*, and restart the game. If that doesn't work, report back with as many details as you can think of: version of the game, steps you took, the order in which you took them, etc. Good luck! *Some people need to do this before the allow-cc-please option 'takes' and some people don't. I do need to do this, but other people on this board think I'm crazy. Either way, it doesn't hurt anything to do so. I blame the difference on gremlins, myself. ![]() Comments are closed.
